Rejuvenating Body Scrub

Hello!

Aromatic body scrubs, in my humble opinion, are underrated because they boast an array of wellness benefits when used on a regular basis. Easy to make at home, they can wake up tired muscles and refresh skin complexion.

Here are a few benefits of aromatic body scrubs that may make you consider using them more:

  • Improved circulation

  • Decreased body tension

  • Revitalized muscles

  • Removal of dead skin cells

  • Smoother looking complexion

  • Softer skin that better absorbs moisture

I recently started using a Juniper-Eucalyptus essential oil body scrub and almost forgot how soft and glowing my skin - including hands and feet - feel after application. I also noticed how much more relaxed my tired calves were. Now, I have a little jar next to the shower, so I have an opportunity to use some scrub a few times a week.

The following is an easy recipe you can whip up at home. Bonus: This makes for a Thoughtful and practical little gift, too.

What You’ll Need —

and most of the ingredients you may actually have handy.

Tip: You can also use olive oil instead of castile soap and other carrier oils mentioned.

CYPRESS - PINE

LEMON - ROSEMARY

How to Make -

a refreshing body scrub and lovely gift option.

Coffee has added antioxidants and helps enhance skin complexion.

But, if you don’t feel like DIYing, that’s totally okay! I have various body scrubs available in my Etsy shop:

Complement with my L a v e n d e r H a n d + B o d y B u t t e r to nourish (and repair) skin with a faint, natural Lavender aroma that is soothing to both the body and mind.

I hope you enjoy this little DIY and feel inspired to incorporate body scrubs into your shower routine - a little moment of selfcare that can leave a positive impact on your physical well-being in the long run.
