Pizza and Ping Pong at Ping!

Last week, I booked a table at a restaurant we wanted to give a try yesterday.

It is called Ping and in the West of London - Earl’s Court.

Earl’s Court is a rather posh area. I can’t say I don’t like it there.

We were welcomed right at the door where a young lady with a headset and reservation list was standing.

We were then lead to our table.

We liked the casual atmosphere and snuggled into our comfortable seats (I deliberately said “seats” because they were way too comfortable to call them chairs).

We ordered our drinks…

…and then were thoroughly focused on the menu.

Three of us had pizza. If you go on a Monday - as we did - you can have a drink and a pizza (limited choice) for 10 pounds.

Look at that little creepy face on the right. ;-)

Ciani decided to get a huge focaccia.

Eva was very happy with her choice of food although J.’s pizza obviously appealed to her.

And finally, a rather boring pizza margherita for me which I personally really enjoyed as it was the best I’ve had in a while.

While C. and E. were engaged in a round of table tennis, Jane and I studied the menu again as we were craving some dessert. Look what we had! I was surprised we did not have such as a “chocolate shock.”

I went for the Tiramisu (which actually wasn’t real Tiramisu but rather a creamy chocolate mousse -

Jane had something extraordinary which could have been a whole meal: the Nutella Pizza with walnuts.

We will definitely come back soon. It is a great place to come to with a group of people for a session of ping pong and drinks. And whoever gets hungry has a wide range of food to choose from.

Monday blues? Who said that?

We chatted about Sunday, about our trip to Oxford. A post will follow sometime this week but I have so many pictures I am not sure if all of them are going to fit into one post.

Watch out. Oxford truly is a beauty.
