South Padre Island, TX

South Padre Island, located South of the state, is a tropical place with miles of beaches, outdoor fun and affordable accommodation, such as Padre South Hotel on the Beach, with rates starting at $60, or La Copa Inn Beach Hotel with about $70 per night. The island is not just a popular spring break destination, but a paradise for families specifically during the summer months. Live shows on the beach, Sealife Nature Center, sea turtle excursion - there’s much to fill your free time with.

Panama City Beach, FL

Turquoise waters, white sand - specifically watersports fans will enjoy themselves in Panama City Beach. You will also find two state parks ideal for running or hiking if you like a break from the beach. Moreover, sunsets are gorgeous and can oftentimes be watched from one of the many waterfront restaurants while enjoying fresh seafood. You can get a hotel room from $70,  such as at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Panama City Beach or Sleep Inn and Suites by the beach.

West Palm Beach, FL

Florida is a famous destination for beach vacations and West Palm Beach might just be one of the more well-known spots, as the climate is nearly the same all year round. If you go off-season, in late spring, chances are you get good deals on hotels. Check out the Doubletree by Hilton West Palm Beach Airport or Best Western or Stay Inn West Palm Beach. Go for a stroll around Clematis Street, the historic heart of the city, visit the Norton Museum of Art, or go on a Lion Country Safari.

Nassau Paradise Island, The Bahamas

The Bahamas are a dream destination for many of us; Nassau in particular is a popular cruise destination and can thus get touristy. Know where to stay and get the most for your buck; give Nassau Junkanoo Beach Resort a try, for less than $90 per night, or opt for Coco Plum Resorts Bahamas. Nassau is full of little cultural and historic treasures, let alone the beaches, and the people are very welcoming. Whether it be water activities, unique tours, casino nights, or fresh seafood by the water - you’ll get it all.

Bora-Bora, French Polynesia

Being the most exotic of all destinations mentioned, Bora-Bora prides itself with natural beauty. White beaches, clear water, and lush green mountains in the back are what make this island stunning. Not your average getaway, this destination features luxury resorts that let dreamers’ hearts beat faster. A filled bank account is required, but with about $160 per night, Blue Heaven Island is one of the more affordable hotels. For the complete luxury experience, choose Bora, Bora Pearl Beach Resort and Spa.
