Early Bird: How I Make My Mornings Less Chaotic (9 Tips)

   Mornings are not for everyone, I understand. However, it’s easier to get up knowing you have everything essential prepared for the day - and can be ready to get active right away. If you have been following this blog for a little while you might know that I am an early bird. It just happened to be that way, I guess. Mornings are great. I love being up before everyone else, drinking my coffee and being done working out when others get up.    Jump Right out of Bed as Your Alarm Goes off  This way, you don’t even have the chance to think about whether staying in bed would be nicer now - because oftentimes that’s the case, I agree.  Head into the Kitchen & Drink a Glass of Water  It helps boost your metabolism.  Boil Water for Your Coffee and/or Porridge  Use every second you have. While water boils, you can head right into the bathroom.  Leave Your Workout Clothes in the Bathroom  You just have to take off your pajamas and change into your workout clothes. No excuses. They are right there.   Grab Your Coffee / Breakfast and Grant Yourself 15-20 Mins to Wake Up  Turn on the music or news, enjoy your coffee and slowly but surely feel the energy running through your body. Isn’t being active before everyone else a great feeling?  Prepare Your Packed Lunch the Night Before  Preparing lunch can be time-consuming. You don’t want to do this in the morning because remember: the more you have prepared, the longer you can stay in bed.  Have Your Outfit for the Day Ready  After having returned from your run or finished your home workout, hop in the shower and don’t waste time in front of your wardrobe. Us girls know that this might be the hardest part of the day - maybe, maybe not. Anyway, be prepared.  Keep Your Packed Bag (for Gym and/or Work) Ready to Hand  If you don’t work out from home, have your bag ready and fully packed with everything you might need. This is one of the things that make your mornings so much easier. Also, you won’t forget anything just because you might be in a rush.   Put Everything Else You Need for the Day Right Next to the Door  Is there anything else you need for the day? Think about it the night before and place it next to your front door. This way you don’t run the risk of forgetting important items.
