Hello 2019

Hi everyone!

I am wishing you a healthy, happy new year with a lot of sparkling moments.

When the clock strikes midnight and all of a sudden it’s the 1st of the new year instead of the 31st of the previous one, there is something magical about it.

It’s as if the last twelve months are stored away in a memory box and a blank new page in your very own book opens.

Now, you can continue to write your story.

It’s a fresh start.

But technically, nothing really changes when the first of the year comes around. The people are still the same, the transition - if not completely hungover - is as seamless as ever, and even the routine, or life in general, has not changed dramatically.

And yet, knowing that there are twelve new chapters ahead of us in our life stories that we can now create and write is motivation enough to start this new year we’re facing with lots of hope and optimism. It’s a beautiful thing.

It’s that certain feeling of both nostalgia for what lies behind us and the rather unknown ahead of us that allows us to welcome 2019 with a big “Hurray”.

We wonder what this new year will bring.

Those quiet, early morning hours with coffee in hand, getting the creative process going while looking at my greatest inspiration.

Those quiet, early morning hours with coffee in hand, getting the creative process going while looking at my greatest inspiration.

I, for one, hope for the ability to see inspiration in the seemingly little, the ordinary things; a clear vision for my creative content creation business; and strength to be the best mother possible to my tiny, precious son. I hope for big little adventures and the possibility to see the magic and wonders of this world through his innocent eyes.

This will be my personal creation fuel: this whole new perspective on life and the fact that I need to just be in the moment as often as possible. Because we’re now living an imperfectly perfect life where I simply have to trust the process.

But if I am letting go of type A planner me just the slightest bit, I know I will be able to enjoy and create deeper, better, more meaningful.

Here’s to a lot of sparkle in 2019.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
